Brussels : Male or Female ?

Do you think Brussls has a sexual identity ? In other words : If you have to draw a human character to portray Brussels, would it be a man or a woman ? Why ?

If a man, BXL is a middle aged man being in crisis over its own identity. For sure it is not a young person, as it lacks the buzz and energy of real cool guys like London or New York, but for sure it is very much open minded and curious of everything. Also more relaxed. However, there is a certain disorientation and chaos in its character that could either end up in disaster or in some wonderful new inventions and renaissance. Unfortunately, the poor guy, altough often seen in glamour, seems to be having some financial troubles.

I don’t see Brussels as having either a male or female identity, but definately it has a personality. Mr/Ms Brussels would be a deep thinker. On the outside they would be the quiet person at the party, never pushing themselves forward or at other people. But take them for coffee and scratch the surface you will find someone deep, thoughtful, quirkey and different. Brussels is both order and chaos in balance.
